When the word ‘me’ or ‘I’ is used, this is referring to ‘Splamei’

By playing projects by me, you agree to the following. Please read VERY CAREFULLY to know what to do and not do. This may change at any time and if so, a push notification though this website (if enabled) and a post will be made. Later, projects will alert you on start-up when a change has been made however, older versions and older projects will not get this change.

Bug Reporting

If you encounter a bug, it is recommended you report the bug via this form (coming soon). This form you will need to insert information about the game and your platform and if you wish, a log file for better debugging. This made development easier and better for everyone. This is not required but recommended.

Piracy

Pirating supported projects is strictly prohibited and not allowed. This includes distributing, hosting and teaching a way to pirate. Pirating in this case means giving another way for users to use projects not though official means such as official installers and SplameiPlay, however, distributing official ways like the download link and installers are allowed and do not count as piracy. Modifications of the projects or/and their installers will fall under the next section:

Cheating and Game Modifications

Cheating

Cheating is strictly prohibited within my projects. Cheating is defined as using hardware of software modifications or tools to gain an advantage over other players (e.g. Memory Modifications or a custom PCIe card) or by exploiting game-breaking glitches or bugs that give you and unfair advantage when exploited.

Modifcations

You cannot modify any of my projects to provide an advantage to you or players as stated above however, modifying my projects through software such as ‘Melon Launcher’ is permitted as long as the mods you are installing provide no advantage to anyone using the mods or the mods will not be used in unpermitted places like tournaments or leader boards including any official ones that may exist. You may charge for mods and sell them commercially but you must not distribute the project with the mod and require users to get the project through permitted ways.

If you are participating in a tournament or leader board, the rules relating to cheating and modifications might be provided. In that case, these rules do not apply to that 3rd-party tournament or leader board.

All projects under these terms are under the ‘All Rights Revered’ Licence. This means that all code, images, music, etc. are Copyright of the creator(s) of the asset and me (‘Splamei’). I, and the creator(s) of the assets stand in our right to take down any usage of any assets used if it violates the following:

  • Violates these terms
  • Used in a negative way against any of my projects or against anyone or anything (unless justified).
  • Modified in any way (using as a base if tolerated) or not credited if required

Game Footage

You are permitted to show game footage without permission and commercially on platforms such as YouTube, Twitch or Kick. I do ask for a mention of the game. This could be in the title, description, on screen or set as the game if on a streaming platform. Not required but extremely appreciated.

Music and Assets

You are free to use music and assets for your own personal project and/or videos with permission. Email me (splamei.vt@gmail.com) and please provide information about the use of the assets and we can discuss what can be done. If however, the project relates to the source of the assets (e.g. a Bitorpito fan game or video) then no permission is required but you must provide the source of the assets (e.g. what game the asset comes from) that is easy to be access by the user.

Datamining

You are allowed to data mine project, unless otherwise stated, for showing beta and in progress features and making resources.
