Throughout this document, the following terms are used:

  • ‘We’ – Refers to Splamei, developers, supporters and team that run SplameiPlay
  • ‘You’ – Refers to you, the user
  • ‘Website’ – Refers to veemo.uk, the official website for Splamei Projects and SplameiPlay
  • ‘Projects’ – Refers to the name given to SplameiPlay content

You fully agree to the entirety document and stand by it. This document is required to be agreed to in order to use SplameiPlay.

This document will, and can be changed at any time in order to equate for any changes to the usage of SplameiPlay. In the case that an update is enforced, the banner within the SplameiPlay app will be updated to inform about the change. In later SplameiPlay versions, a full screen alert may also be used. When this document is updated, you must adhere to the updated revision to continue using and interacting with SplameiPlay.

1.1 SplameiPlay Distribution and Installation

SplameiPlay should only be downloaded and installed from it’s official download page. This is to prevent trojan versions of SplameiPlay being distributed, harming the devices of users. You may save the SplameiPlay installer executable and distribute it to others however, you must use a peer-to-peer connection to share said file. You should also make sure the installer is updated fully however, this is not a requirement. Websites can link the download link to SplameiPlay hosted on this website however, the SplameiPlay files or installer must not be hosted anywhere other than the official servers. The raw files of the SplameiPlay launcher should also not be distributed as to prevent issues that will occur within the application.

1.2 Illegal Activity

Illegal activity will not be tolerated on SplameiPlay and will be taken with serious action. SplameiPlay should only be used for activities that abide by the law in your area as well as in the United Kingdom, which is where we are based. If you suspect anyone you know is using SplameiPlay for illegal activities, contact your local law enforcement, even if it is a friend or family member.

If you have a legal dispute with us, you must resolve it with us personally before using legal force such as filing a lawsuit. This is to allow both parties to resolve the issue(s) peacefully and to be as easy and cheep as possible. If, however, you cannot get a resolution for your dispute, you may use legal force if applicable in your country and United Kingdom law. Disputes will be handled within a British Court of Law.

SplameiPlay is provided ‘as is’ and does not come with any warranty of any kind, SplameiPlay, however, will receive updates throughout its life in order to fix bugs, issues and add new features. We are not liable for any damages that may be caused by the SplameiPlay launcher application. SplameiPlay is also protected under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and the All Rights Reserved licence. All assets, code and other copyrightable content relating to SplameiPlay itself is protected under Copyright. The copyright of assets from projects may be under a separate licence to that of SplameiPlay assets. Please check the official pages of the projects for licence information.

1.5 Document Usage and Issuing

This document shall only be used by the users of SplameiPlay. Only those with authorisation by Splamei may issue this document and assign it to be agreed to. This includes installing and using the SplameiPlay launcher as a user.

1.6 Document Termination

For this document to terminate, the following must be true:

  • You must no longer have any access to the SplameiPlay launcher or related files. This may be due to uninstalling the software or permanently deleting these files
  • You are no longer interfacing with SplameiPlay whether that being directly (for example, SplameiPlay Application Programming Interface, API) or indirectly (for example, SplameiPlay Installer and Theme files)
  • You are not managing content for SplameiPlay

1.7 Bug Reporting

If you may encounter any issues such as bugs and glitches, we recommend you report these to us. Whether that be minor issues that may be annoying to encounter or a major issue that breaks or causes issues in SplameiPlay. Though not required, we ask you if you can report these issues to help the development of SplameiPlay.

1.8 Piracy and extraction

You cannot share the files of projects for any use including moving the files to another device unless the files on the device will only be accessed by you, the save files from SplameiPlay and the project are moved to the target device and they are accessible by SplameiPlay and the moved project. You cannot distribute these ‘extracted’ files to others or modify them in any way. You may also not receive or share any paid projects, content or benefits and violate any piracy laws within your local area and the area of which the developer of the pirated content is based.

1.9 Cheating and Modifications

Unless stated within the licence of the project, you cannot modify a project in any way. This included modifications to project’s memory or files for any meaning or use. Cheating, defined by giving yourself or others an unfair advantage over other users or players, is also, unless stated otherwise in the project’s licence, prohibited for any SplameiPlay project. You, under any terms, cannot modify or change the SplameiPlay launcher application in any ways unless otherwise stated within this document or authorised by Splamei.

1.10 Datamining

Datamining, defined as extracting the code, assets and functions of an application or game, is prohibited to any SplameiPlay project or SplameiPlay itself unless prior permission by the project developers was given or the project’s licence authorises these actions. If you have been given authorisation to datamine a project, you must follow the restrictions put in place, if any are.

1.11 Save file modifications

You cannot modify any save file used or controlled by SplameiPlay or SplameiPlay projects. This includes save files stored in the App Data Roaming directories for SplameiPlay and the save files and image files used by the ‘Splamei Network Client’ system of SplameiPlay and Splamei projects. You may only modify save files if the licence of the project explicitly allows these modifications or permission by the project developer was given.

1.12 Content Sharing

Unless otherwise stated within the licence of a project, you are authorised to share images and videos to others and on social media platforms. These assets must be acquired by playing the project and not through extraction or modifications from the project or taken from internal, private documents from the developer or publisher. You may also create custom ‘fan-made’ content inspired by the project as long as the content follows copyright law and does not use any assets from the original project. You may also not release content that may defame the publisher or developer. These restrictions also apply to the SplameiPlay launcher.
