SplameiPlay’s next major update is here! So here’s all the changes made:
Added the side bar for easy navigation
- The sidebar has been made a proper side bar with a Hello message and navigation to the home page, store page and settings page
Made the home page better to use
- The home page now is where you launch projects and also where you can see your three most recently played projects and your favourite projects
Added the store page
- The store page has been added to show all projects SplameiPlay supports instead of taking up the menu so you can keep projects you don’t want, out of the way
Changed the settings page and added new settings
- The setting menu has been turned into a page in SplameiPlay to make it look nicer when changing settings. Plus SplameiPlay won’t have to close after using settings (some changes won’t take affect until a reboot of the app)
- You can now turn on a mode called ‘Offline Mode’ to prevent SplameiPlay from auto-updating and using the internet
- Japanese has been added as another language to be used in the app. (Does not apply to patch notes, notices and descriptions)
- You can now customise the theme of SplameiPlay so you can make SplameiPlay your own
Adjusted the project page to be cleaner and more intuitive
- The notices has been moved into the top right corner and can be seen by pressing the bell icon
- A button to the right of the notices toggle will open the project’s page so you can get more info on it
- In the middle of the project page button and the notices toggle is an info icon that will show the latest description, age rating and the creator(s) and publisher(s) of the project. You can also now delete a project (Only if installed and managed though SplameiPlay) so you can only keep projects you want
- Above the Play button is now a star icon. This allows you add a project (installed or not) to your favourite list so you can quickly play projects without having to look for it
- The download progress bar has also been moved to the bottom of the screen so it look cleaner and nicer for you. The text with it has also changed so it’s easier to understand
Other minor changes
- This update also fixes bugs and issues within the app and makes some minor changes
