After a long while of exclusive Windows support, SplameiPlay is now available for use on Linux allowing you to use the app natively within Linux with no need for a translator or VM.
We’ve tried our hardest to make using SplameiPlay on Linux as easy and as close to Windows as possible and we hope you enjoy the branch of support that SplameiPlay has.
We’ve also tried to make sure installing SplameiPlay and updating the app is as easy as possible, simply run the install command to install SplameiPlay and it’s updater then run a short quick command to update the app when a new version is available. And just like with Windows, release channels are here allowing you to change what updates you want and how often.
SplameiPlay on Linux will make it easy to maintain and update your apps on Linux just like Windows with a click of a button.
You can download SplameiPlay on your Linux device right now with the latest release, 5.0 Particle Alpha 14.
As of writing, most projects, including native projects don’t support Linux. We’re working as hard as we can to improve project support
We’ve only tested SplameiPlay currently on Debian Linux so please expect issues on other distributions and versions. We’re working our hardest to improve support for all Linux devices though this may take some time
